Disaster Preparedness & Recovery

We provide expert guidance for writing museum disaster plans, identifying risks to the collection and property, and addressing the means for dealing with them.

We have disaster recovery experience following Hurricane Sandy and after a tornado hit the Barnum Museum in June 2010. For that museum in Bridgeport, Connecticut, we have conserved over 200 artifacts damaged or dirtied by the tornado.
